The arrival of the cranes is one of spring’s most breathtaking signs, a natural spectacle that draws thousands of visitors to Lake Hornborga each year. Now, as a guest of Bjertorp Slott, you have the chance to experience this wonder up close during a peaceful morning tour with local guide Anki from FalbygdsTurism.
The group meets on the hill at Bjurum, where Anki will greet you. From there, you’ll walk together down to the Trandansen viewing area, in the heart of the region’s dramatic landscape. Along the way, Anki shares fascinating stories about the cranes, the unique flat-topped mountains, and the cultural history of the area. The tour ends with a quiet moment and Swedish-style coffee and sandwich break in a sheltered tent on-site.
Price: 375 SEK per person (incl. coffee)
This guided tour is an optional add-on for guests staying with us on Saturday 21 March. Simply select any of our castle packages for that date and add the tour during booking.
