When can I check in and out?

Early check-in is possible, subject to availability from 13:00 with a surcharge of SEK 200.

Free parking in designated parking area.

Are there charging poles for the car?

Yes, we have 8 charging stops in our parking lot. They cannot be pre-booked. You pay on the spot by scanning a QR code on the post.

Can I bring my dog to the castle?

Yes we have a dog room with a supplement of 300 SEK per stay. Read more.

Do we get to choose dishes during our castle dinner?

If the group is less than eight people, you can choose the place from the menu. If the group is eight or more, we will send you a menu proposal that you choose from in advance.

When is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served weekdays 07.00-09.30 and weekends 08.00-10.00 except during the summer period.

What are your cancellation policies?

Cancellation protection allows you to cancel or rebook until 18:00 the day before arrival. Without cancellation protection, you can cancel or move your reservation four days before arrival, free of charge, after which you will be charged 100%.

Are there any walking routes around the castle?

Yes we have two different loops starting from the castle gate. Maps are available at reception when you are here. Read more.

Can you play golf at your place?

The award-winning Vara-Bjertorp GK course is located next to the castle and you can easily walk there with your golf bag via the castle park. Read more.
