Christmas music at the castle

On Saturdays in November and December, we increase the Christmas spirit even further at the castle. Alma Stensson sits at the wing with notes of Christmas-inspired jazz music. Book our served Christmas table or order something at the bar and enjoy the Christmas music.

About Alma

Alma Stensson is a jazz pianist from Uppsala who is currently studying her final year at the Bachelor's Programme in Improvisation at the School of Stage and Music. She has previously performed her music at Jazzföreningen Nefertiti and Oceanen in Gothenburg, and is now active with a number of gigs in the autumn, such as at Unity Jazz, Draken Live and Skeppet GBG. In 2022 she was awarded the Musikens Hus Vänners musicians' scholarship in Uppsala and in autumn 2023 she was nominated as a finalist in the Nordic Composer Contest in Odense. In May 2024, she will release her debut album of self-written compositions.
