Bjertorp Slott tops Dagens Industri’s prestigious hotel list in Sweden
-22 points together with Grand Hôtel, Stockholm and Oaxen

"Top hotels" by the daily newspaper Dagens Industri is the most
prestigious hotel listing in Sweden and is well-recognized in the
rest of Europe. The hotels on the list have all been visited by the
professional and critical testers from Dagens Industri who write
their judgment and award the points.
Bjertorp Slott has been on Dagens Inustri's list since
28th August 2009 under the heading "Tasteful manor
weekend for gourmets and golfers". With 22 out of 25 possible
points Bjertorp Slott has been awarded the highest points in
Sweden, together with Grand Hôtel, Stockholm and Oaxen
Skärgårdskrog, Oaxen.
Bjertorp Slott is Sweden's youngest Art Nouveau stately
home, was finished in 1914 and designed by famous architect of his
time, Ferdinand Boberg. Bjertorp Slott manor house is situated 110
km north of Gothenburg on the Vara plain and offers 35 hotel rooms,
conference rooms ,a prize-winning restaurant and lies within
walking distance to Vara-Bjertorp Golf Club, ranked as one of the
best courses in Sweden. All hotel rooms were carefully renovated
during 2008 and all have an individual character, involving bold
colours and designs. The operating business is owned by Winn Hotel
Group AB and real estate owners are Helen and Anders
Junger.
