Vara- Bjertorp GK

The golf course is within walking distance from the manor house. The Golf Club was founded in 1990 and is a park and forest characterized by the vicinity to Bjetorp Slott manor with its personal service. The course is very well kept and flat with difficulties for players with high as well as low handicaps..

The course has 18 holes and an adjacent 6-hole short course, driving range and putting green.

Vara-Bjertorp GC was voted number 1 in Western Gothia and number 44 in Sweden by the magazine Golf Digest and their annual ranking of Swedish golf courses in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. The motivation in 2008 read:"One of the flattest parts of the Western Gothic plain - but with green areas that make the course into one of our country's most interesting. From large tee areas we see the flag placement on all greens. The rough along the fairway edge is higher than earlier. Strategically perfect!"
